		<description>As a Vietnam era draftee, the only thing that kept us going was the certain knowledge that we would be done forever after serving out our year in country. I dont&#039; know how the soldiers and families hold up under the stress. 

Actually, if we are going to keep doing this (and it looks like we are) then I would say maybe we need to think about bringing back the draft. Forget the politics, the regular army needs a break. And so do their families.
