Dear religious Americans: Does Michele Bachmann represent your values? She thinks she does. But it’s hard to see how, because she (apparently) despises the poor, the sick, the very government she is part of, and she doesn’t recognize the existence of at least half the country. She wants to overthrow the political system that gives her a big fat paycheck, which she earns mostly for complaining, obstructing and introducing wacky bills that have no chance of passing. She doesn’t seem to know she is part of the exact same government she’s trying to overthrow. In addition to what you will hear here, she doesn’t believe in science. Maybe worst of all, she supported George Bush 100%, and never complained a bit when he spent hundreds of billions of dollars on killing Muslims in the Middle East — but she has a problem with spending money on Americans’ health care. Odd, isn’t it? It’s almost like she’s getting her talking points from some sick, twisted, evil people.
This weekend, Rep. Michele Bachmann gave another mean-spirited, garbled, illogical speech to an enthusiastic crowd of “Kill the Bill” supporters, on the capital steps in St. Paul Minnesota. Her fan club/cult is growing.
Her views are becoming more and more incendiary. She doesn’t like the IRS or paying taxes. She doesn’t support the very government that she assists in making laws. By all means, Americans, stop paying your taxes that pay this stupid woman’s salary and give her the best health care money can buy! It’s true, many of us don’t want to pay for her health care. Why should we — she’s rich!
Please help Minnesota get rid of this nightmare. When she’s not lying through her teeth, she’s whipping people up into a violent, psycho-sexual state of hatred and anti-government fervor. All of this will be exacerbated when ex-half-governor Sarah Palin bobs her beehive into Minnesota in April, to campaign for Bachmann. We need your help to get her out of the U.S. Congress. This is a very serious matter.
People are suffering in this state directly as a result of her obsessions with no earmarks, no health care reform, no taxes, no government services. She is unable to apply the very basics of her own religion, which she claims is “Christianity.” to her work in Washington. If her religion really is Christianity, it’s some new kind of “let’s stick it to poor and sick people” Christianity. It’s the Christianity where God is a mean jerk who wants poor people to die and rich people to be saved because they are wealthy. It’s the Christianity, in other words, that greedy, selfish people invented so they could increase their own personal wealth. Get it? She’s one of those.
Who can replace her in the 2010 elections? Personally, I feel that Tarryl Clark, currently a member of the Minnesota State Legislature, is the best candidate to win in Congress this fall. Please do whatever you can to support Ms. Clark this year. She is up against an ENORMOUS GOP money machine. I wouldn’t care so much if Bachmann wasn’t so damaging. She is famous for all sorts of mental gaffes, but one of her worst is claiming that CO2 pollution is good for plants. Another is that people should not fill out the census because you might get rounded up and stuck in a FEMA camp. And it goes on and on and on. She combines the most ridiculous claims with fearmongering and lies. She will be joined in her campaigning in April and later this summer not just by Sarah Palin but by Tim Pawlenty and many others from the newly minted far, far-gone right-wing of American politics. It’s enough to make you shudder.
Thanks to the Uptake for the video. Their comments on the video:
“MN 06 Rep. Michele Bachmann speaks at her “Kill the Bill” Rally, to stop the Health Care Bill, on the St. Paul Minnesota State Capital steps. She compares Obama to Chavez, calls the Health Care Bill illegitimate, says you don’t have to follow illegitimate bills. “In their bill they have the IRS enforciing the Health Care Bill.” “We’re not going to pay their taxes…” “We don’t have to follow a bill that isn’t law.”
At 1:30 Bachmann says : “Some have called President Obama, the first Post-American President.”
At 3:00 a woman in the crowd shouts : “SHIP THEM TO CUBA!”
At 5:30 “And these men had guts our founders, these were no panty-waste wusses, and neither are we by the way!”"
Question for right-wingers: What do you like about this stupid woman?
Don’t say she speaks the truth, she absolutely does not. She stirs up hatred mainly against her own government. What’s that called again, I can’t think of the word . . . . .

Does Michele Bachmann represent your values? She thinks she does. But it’s hard to see how, because she (apparently) despises the poor, the sick, the very government she is part of, and she doesn’t recognize the existence of at least half the country.
Now how do you expect to be taken seriously after a comment like this? How does she despise the poor? Because she doesn’t want to raise their insurance premiums with the HCR Bill? Or because she doesn’t want to force them to buy healthcare with their food money?
If you’re in Minnesota and want to get rid of an idiot, how about Al Franken?
And how about this for Christianity. Jesus went around healing the sick, not asking the Government to do it. And as the Obama camp pointed out, Jesus was a community organizer. So if Obama was worth a damn as a community organizer like Jesus, why does he need to fix the healthcare problem now that he’s in Government like Pontius Pilate.
I don’t care much about her religion, any more than I care about Obama’s US of KKK A and GD America religion. What I do know is this. With the kind of majorities that the Democrats have, a Republican would be the least of their problems if they had leadership that was even marginally competent. But they don’t. That’s the left’s problem, not the right’s.
Michele Bachmann absolutely despises the poor and the sick. She wants them all to die so her taxes won’t be raised. That is obvious. She indicates that every time she gives a speech about health care reform.
Bachmann also is encouraging people to ignore valid laws and revolt against what she considers an “illegitimate government” which is what I did when George Bush was president (and he really was an illegitimate president, having stolen two elections) and I was called a traitor for it. I guess that means Bachmann is a traitor and so is everyone who agrees with her, no? She definitely wants a revolution of some kind. She also keeps mentioning blood, slitting wrists, etc. She’s either a vampire or someone who’s trying to start a civil war.
As far as Jesus, by all accounts he was a socialist. He told everyone to feed and clothe poor people. He said the rich will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Remember all those delicious little verses about giving all your stuff away and following him? Here’s a little story for you.
In other words, pay your taxes, give money to the government if you owe it to the government (and it’s all made by the government, so it is their money, not yours) and shut up about it. That was the advice of Jesus, not me. Yet the “Christian” Michele Bachmann and the Tea Baggers hate taxes, so they are going against their own religion’s teachings. Money is made by the government, not by ‘God’. The whole economic system was invented by men. It has nothing to do with religion. Religion teaches socialism and communism and that the love of money is the root of all evil. Does Michele Bachmann love her money? Oh yes, she does, very much. That’s why she’s rich. So she’s a hypocrite too.
You might not like that, but it’s true. No religion on earth teaches wealth building or hoarding money.
If you’re going along with the Jesus stories, he also said stuff about love your neighbor, give the poor your clothes and food, don’t murder, and stop bitching about how you don’t get your way or have everything you want. We are our brother’s keeper, and we should all take care of each other, that’s the main point of Christianity. If governments do it on our behalf, it’s the same thing, since WE are the government. We have representative government, which means we give them power to do things on our behalf. Idiots like Bachmann don’t even seem to know that. She just wants to stir up the people who worship her and slobber at her feet.
So if you want to tell us something about a religion, at least know what you’re talking about.
If Franken doesn’t vote for strong climate change legislation, no, he’s not very useful, but that remains to be seen. I plan on calling him to encourage him to vote for climate legislation and I hope everyone calls their Senators and writes letters and push them to support climate change legislation.
Amerikan Christianity is to christianity what Amerikan televangelists are to christianity or what Monsanto is to beans.
Jesus strongly condemned having riches, saying something along the lines of how the rich would hardly enter the kingdom of heaven. Not many Amerikan christians have read the Bible, but it’s in the New Testament, that slender portion of the Bible that no one reads any longer now that we have TV and other diversions. The apostle Paul, who never saw Jesus, wrote that God puts leaders into power and to go against them is to go against God. Back when Geezus dubya was leader, it was as bad as being the leader of eye rack to question him or his war. Naturally, those who protested were called ‘traitors’. Bloodthirst is fine with the Amerikan christians, so long as someone else does the dirty work. Others benefit from shares going higher if they were lucky enough to have stock in select no-bid contractors companies.
In the epistle James, war is severely condemned as are the rich who are literally roasted by the writer for having anything.
You can’t trust any of the politicians on either side of the duopoly. Kucinich sold out and we can expect more betrayals against the people.
During World War II, GI Insurance was such that soldiers, sailors and airmen could cash in on their policies and were able to get money back after getting out of harm’s way after service and the war being over. Insurance wasn’t just a huge gouge at that time.
The solution isn’t to force people to buy insurance that is as useful as teats on a boar hog. The solution is to take all of the profit out of medical care.
The betrayal of the people by giving a gift to insurance companies is stealing from the people for no other reason than to enrich those who are rolling in millions already and keeping Grandma on dog food instead of more expensive peanut butter sandwiches. This is betrayal of the people, plain and simple.
There are provisions in every community for police and fire protection. When the day arrives that single-payer is available, then people can start congratulating themselves. At this time, the Amerikan christians still promote property over people. This is worship of mammon, in violation of their Bible they don’t read.
The ‘US of KKK of GD A’ reference wouldn’t be so funny if you or someone you loved had been one of those subjects in the Tuskeegee Experiment.
It is wrong to force people to buy insurance which they can’t afford. Even if they could afford it, insurance companies are in business to deny claims for any reason. They are in business to protect the bottom line (that means their profits) and couldn’t care less about insurees. Find a reason to deny the claim and drag it out as long as possible if the insuree is actually entitled in spite of efforts by the company to deny a claim and that’s what you’ve got.
No jobs program. No ‘tweaking’ of NAFTA. No nationalization of the banks to protect ignorant people so worried about socialism. Just another gift to Wall Street. After all, Goldman Sachs is doin’ the work of the lawd, ’cause they said so on the news.
