War Appropriations — Call Your Senators

Call your Senators!   We have to stop this war funding right now — it’s the only way to end these failed military adventures — before they destroy the U.S.   Right now we are spending $5,000 per second in Iraq.  It’s a money pit and there is no end in sight.  We aren’t winning either unwinnable situation in either country.  Here is what’s coming up this week:  The Iraq - Afghanistan war supplemental may be voted on this Thursday, May 8, in the House of Representatives.

The Senate Appropriations Committee will “mark-up” the supplemental this Thursday, May 8, setting the stage for a full vote by the Senate.
To express opposition to additional war funding, you can call the  Capitol Switchboard to be connected to your Representative’s and your  Senators’ offices: 1-202-224-3121 or toll free at: 1-800-828-0498

And we need to keep Blackwater out of it and stop throwing away money on more war profiteers!
